Well, my "this is gonna stay stock" Jeep is spiraling out of control. I'm now looking at bumpers. Here's what I want:

Front Bumper
1. winch mount
2. brushguard (not a stinger)
3. D rings

Rear Bumper
1. Hitch
2. Drings
3. Tire carrier

I see tons of options and a few custom fabricators. What do you guys like/use?

While I think the JCR bumper is sick, I went with the Smittybilt XRC. It was already powder coated, less expensive, and I got it from Serious Offroad... Best vendor I've dealt with in many years. Not to mention shipping was much faster and cheaper than expected.

540 (plus shipping) for both from DND

I've dealt with them before and they are fantastic. My buddy has their front and its beefier then the nates bumper my other friend has. I'm getting this combo in about a month and I can't wait.

I was hoping someone would mention Nates 4X4. Saw their bumpers on ebay this morning but didn't know anything about them. Do they come finished or raw steel?

They started it as a special but they have been selling so many they decided to keep it. I have seen the work, and I was sold. Like I said, I'll be picking mine up early December (just about have the money saved up)

I use an older Rusty's pre-runner style winch bumper. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but it's light as hell and it was cheap since I bought it used.

I don't see a frame brace on the rear bumper. Looks like it bolts right where the stock bumper mounts bolt up. It holds up to the swinging rear tire?

Thats a great price, but without frame tie ins they are worthless. Recovering, winching or even carrying a 35in tire is just a matter of time before they rip out of the mounts. I'm sure you could contact them and for extra $ get those made. Unless you make the tie ins yourself. As it sits, the winch bumper wth no tie ins is pointless. I have never seen a tire carrier bumper come even close to this low price tough.
