JK 44 axles?
Hello all. I'm a newbie to this forum but I'm not a newbie to building jeeps and other vehicles. What do yall think about the JK Rubicon 44s under an xj? The research I have done says the front will bolt in. Just a little fabrication. Easy stuff, so they say. The rear I know needs perches welded on. No problem. Need to fix pinion angle anyways. Just wanted some other peopes input. I already have the JK Rubicon rims and 35s on it. Sitting on a 3" lift.

Sure, it'll bolt right in with every single mount cut off and new ones welded on.
No, it's not just bolt in. JK's use a different bracket for everything, and are 3" wider. You would also need to figure out something with your factory air lockers in the axles.

If they're really cheap. Rubicon 44 front isn't much of an upgrade from a D30, they share many parts.
If you want to build axles for strength better to do real axles. Guys over in the Modified Tech section know more...

The JK axles are different than the 44/30 TJ axles I believe. A more "44" than the 44 center sections with the same shafts and joints.
Promise everything is different, bud. Whoever says they will is 100% wrong.
