Check out rockauto.com. Last I checked the said they were going to take a few days to ship, but they didnt say discontinued and were only like $50. I patched mine with 16ga and it seems to be working well. I might go thicker if I ever have to do it again.

For cheapskates such as myself who can't afford/don't want to pay for welding, would a pop riveter hold a floor pan in place? I'd seal it with some RTV and paint over with something like por-15 to keep it from happening again. Just wanna know before I waste a ton of money and time.

I used rtv and it worked well. Make sure you use stainless rivets or they'll rust out before the floor pans. Truck bed liner might be an option to cover it with. I thought of it after I covered mine with some napa rubberized undercoating. I wouldnt recommend the napa crap, didnt work very well.

And to cut out the old stuff, would an electric angle grinder from harbor freight do the trick? Something like this: http://www.harborfreight.com/4-inch-...der-91222.html
I'm not expecting to do any other metal cutting after this, I don't think I need a dewalt or anything.

Thank you. My last jeep I can't remember the thickness if sheet metal but was almost to thick to work with. Welding it to the ugly rust pitted metal was a night mare. Btw that was the trunk area. So for floor pans I'd like to use something thin but not to thin nor to thick
