I'm not a big additive guy, but I do use fuel system cleaner about 3 times a year.
*For preventive, I like Techron (by Chevron). Widely available and dollar for dollar, a great cleaner for fuel system and injectors. Seafoam is another popular product and it does have a stoddard solvent that will clean your fuel system, but I think Techron's formulation is superior to Seafoam. Stay away from the el-cheapo two and three buck cleaners that line the shelves of your local parts store. They're absolute crap.
*For problematic fuel systems and ones that have "symptoms", I always defer to BG44K. Hard to find (order it online) and not cheap, it is an absolutely tremendous fuel system cleaner. I've seen some pretty amazing stuff happen with this product.

I agree with Mr. Walker, BG44K is probably the best. It's the only thing I use. Yes, it is expensive and hard to find. I happened to stumble accross a retailer that has it in stock...a Goodyear Tire shop - go figure. I dump in a can about every 5K miles.
