If you need to drive- saran wrap could be a temp solution... or just a garbage bag. Of course this is all till you get the window on.

It won't fit? How about try putting the window in with back side up then rotate the window after you get it inside the door.

you should first try taking off the door panel, but be careful not to break the clips, as you will need them for re-installation, try to be careful as to not break any part of the panle. Once you've tooke out all the screws and unclipped the panel slide the panel up to disengage it, but be careful because there are two plastic sticks at the top of the panel to esure correct fitment( dont break those either) once you have all that try taking off the black border starting with the one thats on the bottom it should be able to slide out, hope that can help you.

maybe if you start yelling at it, it will be a good jeep and take the window!

i have put the window all the way down in the bottom of the door(after u take the door panel off). when you do that the window will line up to the track. then you will have to walk the window up the track till you can get the screw back into the holder on the window regulator.

I've not replaced a window in my cherokee but in my other car one of the window tracks unbolts from inside the door. The bolt was hard to find, I suspect the cherokee may have the same removeable track.

I usually have to kick mine in the tail pipe. That gets its attention!

a large garbage bag will fit over the top of the door, closing the door keeps it in place
