Horn with a mind of its own.
2001 XJ with the horn randomingly going off, usually in the hottestest part of the afternoon or in the middle of the night. It never happens when the car is running. No alarm system on the car. I am assuming the pressure in the airbag is changing, and causing the horn to make contact. Would replacing the airbag possibly be the cure. Open to any experiences or thoughts.

Probably something to do with the clockspring grounding out. There's no pressure in the airbag until the squib fires, unless there's a hole in the airbag allowing it to inflate with air slightly, thus putting pressure on the horn contacts. Try one from a junkyard, but most times they pop them so people don't get hurt accidentally. At least around my area.
