To the best of my knowledge, the use of a train horn on a POV is illegal. Diesel truck horns however, are not.
There are cheaper ways to get a loud horn though. Wolo horns work well, are quite loud, are far less expensive and come in two choices..........a self contained twin trumpet air horn (I have one on my car and it freaks people out when I use it.).......and a twin trumpet full electric version that is just as loud but, doesn't require air and thus is more responsive.

My local AZ has that last horn set for $25. $40 is way to much for it.

Agreed! I rarely buy anything from Quadratec unless I just can't find it anywhere else because everything is so over priced.

I sell train horns where I work. 3 or 5 bell for big rigs. Have no idea where you would mount them on an XJ..Unless that is not what the OP meant them for.
