If its reading no bus ( looks like no bu5 ) on your dash its the gauge cluster. Sometimes pulling it out ( 15-30 min job ) and cleaning the connectors sometimes gets rid of it. Otherwise you might need to replace the gauge cluster. If I am understanding you right.

Did the NO BUS appear at exactly the same time as the engine began to "click" and doesn't turn over?
Freshen battery connections and also freshen engine grounds. Have your battery "load tested" (free at any parts store).
Simple stuff first; gotta get that engine turning over as job #1 and then address the NO BUS if it is still there!

If you have a NO BUS and the engine turns over but doesn't start, something is pulling the computer bus down.
A shorted crankshaft position sensor is a common cause but you replaced it.
Theoretically, any of the 5 volt engine management sensors (if shorted) could create your problem. Try unplugging them one by one, then with one sensor unplugged, turn the key to ON and see if your NO BUS is present or gone. If it's gone with a certain sensor unplugged, you know what sensor to replace.
If you get to the point where you have used the above technique and taken all of the 5 volt sensors out of circuit and you still have a NO BUS, the computer itself is high on your suspect list.
Good luck and keep us updated!
