HELP cherokee window installation
In order not to pay labor fees of a mechanic, I am trying to install my own window. Being a girl with no car knowledge, it's a lot harder than it looks. I tried researching how to do so, but I am coming across a few problems. My passenger front window got smashed of my 94 Jeep Cherokee Sport. After many attempts, I got the door paneling off, with the window crank being the hardest part. I have the little triangle window right next to the window that was smashed - I believe that window is called a quarter light window? Anyway, in order to put the passenger window in, am I going to have to remove the triangle window? And if so, how do I get the bar that separates the two windows out? Also what tool do I use to get the circular thing that held the old window (now it just holds the broken glass pieces) out so I can get the new window in the window regulator and put the circular piece back on that holds it in place? This might have been worth just paying for the installation! Please help!

Yeah, I know the basics. It's just squeezing in the window with the quarter window in the same door. I didn't know if I had to take the quarter window out as well in order to squeeze the main passenger side door window in and the video doesn't show a quarter window. But thank you for trying to help!

Yeah, I looked at the manual you sent me. They only explain replacing the regulator, which you don't need to remove the windows for, therefore they didn't explain removing the windows. They just tape the window up. :/ I think I found out where the screws are for that bar that is inbetween the window and the vent window. Unfortunately it looks like I have to remove the little triangle vent window and the bar in order to squeeze the main window into the door. If someone breaks into my car again, I will scream.

Removing Fixed-Triangle Glass to install Main side Window Glass
...My passenger front window got smashed of my 94 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I have fixed little triangle window right NEXT to the window that was smashed - I believe that window is called a quarter light window? Anyway, in order to put the passenger window in, am I going to have to remove the triangle window? ...
I managed to remove that fixed Triangle glass & sub-frame (Not a "vent"), but now am wondering how will I ever be able to get it back in AFTER installing the big replacement glass ?
FYI, you DO HAVE TO take that triangle out - because glass is 1/8" wider and does Not fit, without taking first taking it out.
Several forums mention this - but several also say otherwise.
Reality is: you gotta take it out.
I just don't understand how I'll ever be able to re-install that fixed-triangle (glass & sub-frame) after that main glass replacement is in ??
Any tips ?
(I Do have original paper Factory Manual: it says nothing about this ....just like it says nothing about details of many other situations when doing repairs)
