Default Cragar D Windows

Just got a free set of firestone destination A/T's from my brother with only 50 miles on them! They're 30x9.50's and I'm planning to buy some 15x7 Cragar D windows with 4 inch backspacing to put them on. Will these rims work ok on a stock 2000 xj? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Usually folks go for the 15x8. The A/t will last awhile man. I'm 15k in and they still look brand new.

That's a clean jeep! I'm guessing your wheels are 15x8; what's the backspacing on them?

Do the 15x8. It'll let you run wider tires if you ever want to in the future, and it'll look better. 4 inch backspacing will be fine, although 3.75-inch backspacing is typically the recommended amount on a lifted application, so choose wisely. Cragar makes a V5 wheel with 3.75-inch backspacing.

They'll fit your Jeep no problem.

Thanks bud. More issues the closer you get lol.
Ya know, I never checked to see if they're 15x8. Certainly a 15 but I will have to ask a tire guy when I get tires next. I measured once and I'm pretty sure I have 3.75 bs.

Try 15x8 with 3.75" of BS that way you can go up to a 12.5" wide tire and still air down for off road. The 3.75 clears the frame also with LCA's with up to a 33x12:50x15 can do a 35" if a few more mods are done.

These are Cragar Soft Eights on mine 15x8 3.75" BS.

Where did you find soft 8's with 3.75" backspacing? They start at 4" according to the specs on Cragar's site:

So just to be sure, 4 inch backspacing on 30x9.5s won't cause any problems on my stock xj?

They have been on there over 4 yrs. and I think they came from Jegs they offered 2 sizes the 3.75 and 4" then.

I wonder why they appear to be discontinued. Looks like the V5 wheels are the only steel ones Cragar still offers in 3.75 inch.
