Default Headers and 2 or 4 Barrel?

I've been doing research to find a camshaft upgrade, and found a site online that has something that will work. I ordered a catalog, and I received it today.

Under the part description, it says "Headers and 2 or 4 Barrel recommended. They also sell the headers, and the headers description states "all headers are dual outlet". Will this work? It does say the header is for the 4.0, I'm just not sure about dual outlet.

And what is the 2 or 4 barrel referring to? I really don't know what that is.

and Summit sells a camshaft upgrade kit....

I would just spend the money on a stroker upgrade really unless you are having camshaft problems

Mine's a '99. So no carb. Is that what the barrel is referring to?

That's my problem to. That's all it says in the description of the camshaft "2 or 4 barrel recommended." Guess I'm not going to worry about this upgrade. I''m not really looking to get a whole bunch more power, just trying to make any "easy" improvements.

upgraded injectors Ev6 style (4 hole)
upgraded ignition (msd control box with new high efficient coil)
spark plugs and wires
bored throttle body
true cold air intake. you can close off your factory box to the header panel to make it a cold air (not the crappy cone filter in the stock box set up....)
exhaust.

I can spin my 33's on 3.07 gears. I have TONS of power.

I got the injectors in last week. I notice the difference with just that. I was planning to get the bored throttle body.

Where did you get the upgraded ignition? And did you build your CAI yourself or were you able to find a kit? Got any pictures of the CAI?

i got the ignition off CL for $100 total. a while back there wa another one for $80 too.... They pop up often here.

and i will try to snag some pictures but i basically cut the entire front of the air box out except for the mounting lip on the top.

then used construction paper as a template to amek the pieces i needed. On the sides of the box i went 4 inches back so i could get a good mounting surface.

the sides go from being flush with the side of the rad on the "inner" side of the box to 4" back along the air box. the "outer" side of the air box i did the same thing but mounted it flush to the header panel. Then i made the top piece using some small L brackets to attach it to the sides. it sits flush between the air box and the header panel.

i used ABS plastic i had sitting around from another project.

sorry for the crappy description. again i will try to get pictures. But then i just used a drop in filter and it works amazing!

Are these the ignition and coil I should be on the lookout for?

2 or 4 is the barrels of the carb. the older carb'd jeeps came with a crappy carb and the upgrade was a weber 38 synch carb or a small 4 barrel. there is an offenhauser (spelled wrong, i know) intake for a 4 barrel on craigslist here for 100 bucks for a 4.0/4.2 jeep i6. you can get hte header for either one but you will have toput a bung for a cat in the pipe just past your flanges since your is newer. i can't run a header because i have the egr valve and all the old school injection
