Default Going from d35 to c8.25

Hey, what all goes into swapping from a d35 to 8.25?

I know I need the correct gears, and a 29 spline, but what else?

What do I do with the driveshaft? ABS? Will my ABS Light be on? And what really goes into it? never done too much under my jeep but am lifting it and putting bigger tires and plan on wheeling more. i don't wanna go into this blind, but dont wanna snap my turdy five

You will need different u bolts, the driveshaft should be fine, and if you have abs you can pull the fuse.

i thought the 8.25 has a longer snout so a shorter driveshaft, correct me if im wrong but you might need the 8.25 shaft too the d35 is too long.

Marc

edit: thats probably what 00t444e meant

I would go ahead and get the driveshaft for the 8.25 just in case.
