I just purchased lucas synthetic 75w90 gear oil and it has 946 ml in a bottle. So I will need two full bottles and 188 ml out of a third. I was guessing that this would pretty much bring it level to the fill plug. Let me know if I am incorrect.

hey thanks i did push pretty hard on both sides i was working like an impact wrench lol and they slid in finally.yes fill to the fill plug, and once it overflows let it flow out for a while. For the 8.25 i used 2 quarts and some from the 3rd bottle, the front took 1 quart and most of the 3rd bottle. I just pumped it in slowly so as soon as it hit the bottom of the fill plug i stopped pumping.

okay i got confused its like a week later but which way are the cylinders counteed ? i looked at the diagram dukie posted but i dont get it. Is the first cylinder by the firewall ? and then it counts out? Or is the first cylinder by the radiator ? I have a feeling i replaced the injector in cylinder 5 instead of 2 but either way the check engine is gone.

Well think i figured it out that cylinder 1 is by the radiator so indeed i replaced injector in cylinder 5 oh well. Its my first car so im learning. But good thing i took em out as i did replace all of the o rings and some of them were ripped so it could of been that as well.

any way another question i have is can the distributor cap be turned 180 degrees and still fit on ? If so would the car still start? Reason im asking is because on my cap the guy before me labeled the plug wires as he was switching them. Meaning cylinder 6 goes to the right one but is labeled as 1 on the cap and 5 goes to the right one as well but is labeled as 2 on the cap. You get what im sayin?? Finally would the car start if the wires were connected wrong ? my jeep idles at 750 -800 rpms so i believe thats good

1 is by the radiator and no you can't put the cap on backwards. Sounds like you're good to go.

as for the thumping noise on my passanger side i believe its the swaybar bushings. I was at a slight hill and i had the wheels turned all the way to one side and when i grabbed the sway bar and and moved side to side i would here that sound. Ima replace them tomorrow and hopefully its gona be gone.

just a hand siphon pump you find at any auto parts store will work fine. Metal ones are better. Stay away from the "in-bottle" pumps

good question i want to know as well. I was thinking of undercoating it. I think it costs like 200 bucks to have it done.

Get your battery load tested for cold-cranking amps
Change Oil / Filter to 5W-30
Coolant Mix Check (using a floating ball tester)
Grease your zerks
Check your serpentine belt condition and adjustment
backflush your heater core
Check all your fluid levels
undercoating/rust control paint application is a good idea
tire pressure will need to be addressed as temps drop
