Engine Removal
As a follow up - looking at the trans there are a few things that I'm not sure about. Is the linkage in the pic made to pry apart at the joint (pop it off in other words)? Also, does the transmission line just unscrew? The plastic insert makes it confusing.
Sorry the newbie questions, I have owned and worked on several cars and motorcycles over the years but these are new to me and I don't want to break something out of ignorance.
Thanks all!

First, I don't know. Someone else likely will be more helpful. The shiftier, if you unbolt it from the tranny you won't have it sticking out to catch on things.
On the line, maybe search "quick disconnect" or some such. Might be there is a cheap little plastic tool you push in to release it. Again, Idk...
Don't forget the vent tubes, maybe coming up around the tranny dip stick.

Would really like to have better access to the lower portion of the trans hump to remove the rot if possible though.
