Default Disconnect Adapters?

I was surfing around on rubicon express's website and came across..
http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Jeep/X...BD&part=RE1171

they call them sway bar disconnect adapters. I guess im confused as to what they would bolt up to? is this for their own sway bar disconnect kit? Or does this convert stock sway bars into being able to disconnect them with this MUCH cheaper kit?

ya i ended up finding it. I am just brain storming so ways i can just modify the stock sway bar links to be able to disconnect them. I have a good feeling that the bottom bolt on the sway bar link is just not going to come out by the looks of it

you could cut the link in half around the mid section, find a sleeve that fits over the rod, drill a couple holes in the rod and sleeve and use some pins to hold it together.

The part from Rubicon Express you were looking at is to convert the stock sway bar from top post mounts to having a bushing style mount. Kinda like bar pin eliminators. I have been running the 7$ home aid ones for about a month and they work great.

i was thinkin that i would drill a hole through the bolt and the bottom of the sway bar bolt. Big enough to fit one of those fancy lockin pins. Then up at the top, clean up the threads on the top of the sway bar link and put a lock washer under a wingnut so that i could just take the whole thing out by hand. then just zip tie the sway bar up and hang it threw a whole in the frame.

This way there wont be any rattle from using a smaller bolt at the bottom.
