Any known issues using the 784 injectors with the ev1 to ev6 adaptors? Check engine light, etc?
My Cherokee is a 98 and has the ev1 connectors which would use the hard to find 703 injector. I am wanting to use the 784 injectors with the adapters if I can.

Someone mentioned an issue of the adapter interfering with the rail on just one IIRC. Not sure if that was pre or post 2000, or if that matters.
You might PM Programbo Besides info, he may have injectors for you.

Clearance shouldn't be an issue on '98, the worst I could see is running out of wire length to fit the adapters and leave sufficient slack. CEL is not a concern unless you screw up a connection. They're just plastic with metal pins.
Lots of people selling the right injectors, though...

If you are still messing with this issue I would just go to the closest salvage yard and get the EV-6 plugs with maybe "2-3" of wire on each one off of something and cut off your old EV-1 plugs and splice on the newer plugs to use the 784's if you have some. You can get the EV-6 plugs from any of 100 different vehicles. Dodge, Chrysler, GM, Ford, Jeep, cars trucks..Lots of stuff use EV-6 plugs. Just make sure to connect the wires right.

2001 cherokee sport
So i have a xj with 287000 on it and recently had the piston skirt break on cylinder 2 and with the more i got into taking it apart just kept finding more wrong so im about done rebuilding the block and head from the ground up i noticed when pulling the fuel rail tho the orings were kind of cracked on the fuel injectors so planned to replace but more i got looking they were not stock they are upgrade 0280155949 ford injectors. Guess my question is that what i should put back in with a full rebuilt motor or should i go with stock or the neon or 5.0 mustang injectors to much out there on it all and one form says one thing for on year and the next says another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
