The neon ones are alot cheaper, i got mine off ebay for around 40 bucks shipped to my door, they helped alot better than the stock ones i had, quicker easier start, better throttle response and felt like it had more low end as well as high end power. go with these injectors and put some E3 spark plugs in there. i gained exactly 2mpg better with these 2 mods. was doing around 16 city, then 18 i drive the same everywhere

You know, I always thought those fancy spark plugs were gimmicks, but the other day on Spike during the horsepower TV block, they checked them, and they saw a minor horsepower difference on the dyno, which really surprised me. Im gonna need to check them out and see how the cars like them, hopefully they arent terrible like those Bosch multi tips

Champion double platinum is the way I went and I'm not looking back. Definitely worth the extra coin.

platinum for sure is an upgrade over copper with regards to durability and that they do not degrade as much as the copper tips

I just did the swap with neon injectors an hour ago. Huge difference, but I suspect that the stock injectors were faulty. (296,000 miles)

It's just easier to start and idles way better. Hoping to see some increase in economy too.

Well, it was time to smog the Jeep. I know many have said with the things I have done it would never pass smog. Well, I would like to clear up a lot of myths. PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. $40 w/cert

Here is what I have done:
180* stat
TJ motor fan (both these keep the temps at 180*). This is a 7 blade that replaces the YJ 5 blade
Neon injectors (703). Just did them a few weeks ago. Well worth it!
Hi-flow cat
Borla exhaust
K&N CAI
2.5" cat back
180k miles

Here is the smog test today:

Max/Ave/Meas
15mph
HC (ppm)
63/32/14
CO (%)
.66/.04/.02
Nox (ppm)
517/152/5

25mph
HC (ppm)
38/20/12
CO (%)
.56/.06/.09
Nox (ppm)
770/183/2

Just put 0 280 155 784 injectors in my '99 and I noticed an improvement in idle and throttle response. Haven't noticed an economic difference but then again I don't care. Recommend the swap.

19# injectors (5.0) are ok for non HO motors. For HO motors the Neon injectors are needed at 22.8# as stock are 21#

Guess I'm sorta ressurecting a dead thread but I saw someone asked earlier on, and I was also wondering.

Will http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SIX-N...item2eb0760e6c work on a 99+?
