Yea. Even with my crude grasp of electromagnetic induction I'd think there should be something there to measure besides resistance.

LOL. I do live with 6, 270,000 volt lines in sight! I think my neighbor doesn't need to plug in his fluorescent lights! Main trunk for North CA there, but no grid power here. Gotta run, my foil is smoken....
