Default Clicking noise with new wheels

Yesterday I put some (new to me) wheels on my Cherokee. They're just used Ranger wheels I got of Craigslist. Everything looked good and went smoothly as it should. When I left for work tonight I didn't even make it out of my alley before I heard a bad clicking sound. I didn't have time to inspect for possible problems so I took the wife's car.
Any suggestions for what to look for when I get home in the morning? Like I said, everything looked good as far as clearance and all that. I'm stumped without looking.

Thanks in advance.

So I looked when I got home this morning and couldn't find anything wrong. Guess I'll just put the old wheels back on.

Loose center cap? Or maybe you didn't tighten the lug nuts down enough, or maybe there the wrong lug nuts and they loosend up while you drove home.

I'll mess with them some more tomorrow. I know it's not center caps (don't have any yet) and the lugs aren't bottoming out. Could have not been torqued down enough. Part of me wants to put on new rubber before attempting again just to save this hassle later.
Thanks for the input guys.

See if your park brake cables are contacting the back side of the wheels and/or their weights.......

forgot to tighten all my lugs one time, going down the drive it made a clicking or "loose" noise... thats all it was... make sure that your balancing weights on the rear drums are not interfering with the ranger wheels.. you might have to remove them if they are not letting the wheel sit flush.. .had that happen too...

Thanks. Gonna do a pretty thorough job tomorrow afternoon. A simple problem would be nice for a change.

Forgot to come back with an update. Anyway, it turns out the hubs weren't fitting through the center holes on the rims. Nothing a die grinder and an afternoon can't handle. I assume the sound was the rotors/drums not being held in place properly. I'll throw some pics up later.

Thanks guys.
