Do the lines from the condenser come attached/with the condenser?
rockauto.com and others only show three individual lines for r134a systems and that seems like at least one shy of the total.
At worst I guess if some lines aren't made anymore, can bring the old ones to a shop to make new ones.
Also my Schrader valves are on the lines at the compressor but UAC descriptions don't mention them and the pictures aren't always revealing either.
Here's a clip from the 96 parts guide. Check and see if it matches yours. I believe in '97 Jeep switched from threaded connectors to quick disconnects. So a '97 condenser would have the stub hard lines as part of the condenser.
Drier to Evap is 55037203. That shows discontinued or out of stock everywhere I looked. Is it bad?
doesn't appear bad but I haven't touched it yet, so if it survives removal I can probably clean it out and use it.
Only reason I was shopping new lines was because of an earlier thread and I bought into the wiseness.
will be ordering an o ring kit with everything else too. Guess I could replace Schraders in the old lines.
BTW the Mopar Replacement brand condenser at Summitt is 4 cylinder only, even though I entered my engine information. And not available until May.
On closer examination I think I have the without extension pipe variety. My condenser pipes go from condenser to the next component in the chain. Extension pipe variety condensers appear to have a pipe assembly that is connected to the condenser and terminate on the engine side of the radiator for another set of pipes to connect.
not seeing my lines anywhere, so I need to check with a local shop that makes A/C lines.
Now I'm confused. Sounds like your system matches the parts diagram above. RA has some of the lines. Sounds like you need the condenser without the "stub" hard lines and qd's. You can try Jeepair.com or ACKITS.com if RA doesn't have what you need.

it's identical to the diagram above.
Rockauto.com has some of the lines, not all of the lines. They don't show either of the lines that connect to the condenser in my factory setup.
Will look at the ones that you mentioned, haven't looked there yet.
My mechanic buddy told me that the lines with rubber sections should be replaced if they are original, so in my case looks like all of them.
Both ACKITS.com and Jeepair have the same 3 hoses as everyone else. ACKITS.com are UAC and even the UAC catalog only have the same three hoses, which don't connect anything to the condenser.
Hold on, I see what you folks are seeing.
Back at Rock Auto there are 2 hoses, by 3 different makers, that go from the condenser. One goes to the evaporator, the other to the compressor.
One more hose that goes from the compressor to the evaporator.
End of list.
Nothing going to the dryer. And in the diagram above, the dryer is in the circuit between the condenser and the evaporator using hoses 1, and 10. There is no hose going direct from the evaporator to the condenser, they go from the evaporator to either the compressor or the dryer.
Sach maker has, possibly, two hoses I could use in my vehicle and I would need to get the rest made at a shop.
But wait, there's more!
Actually cross referencing what UAC says their parts replace using their catalogue XREF feature: https://uacparts.com/Catalog/eCatalogIndex
HA111291C is the line from condenser to the dryer 5503 6252, and incorrectly described everyplace.
The other two lines go from the condenser to the compressor and from the evaporator to the compressor.
Nobody seems to make a line from the dryer to the evaporator 5503 7203
Contacted Rockauto.com, after I was the last person in the forum to see the problem, and got this response:
Thank you for notifying us of the issue and providing that information. We have notified each of the three manufacturers that list that part of the error. Since the information on the catalog is obtained directly from the manufacturers, it will update as soon as they correct their data, but that may take 2-4 weeks.
Thank you,
Casey RockAuto Customer Service
Also contacted UAC.
Thanks for all the input and sticking with this until I got it through my head.
