Silly question about longer brake lines. YJ or XJ?

Silly question about longer brake lines. YJ or XJ?

So its suggested that YJ brake lines can be used on the XJs with a lift because they are longer. Well, Autozone sells longer XJ brake lines. So whats keeping me from just buying the longer XJ lines? They are 4" longer. Not to mention when I search for the YJ lines compared to the XJ lines, the XJ lines are 2" longer than the YJs for a standard length (without lift). Not sure why that is.

I think I'd get the xj lines.
I've never seen a yj line so I have no idea if anything is different .

I went with 6" longer than stock when I got them i barely needed longer lines. Now I'm using damn near all the line at full droop.
