Default Broken 4 way coolant fitting.

So I was under the hood checking the ATF level today, and i noticed the hose at the top of this fitting was dripping a bit of antifreeze. Jiggled it a bit and it must have cracked it more because it starting spraying out, another jiggle and the whole top hose cracked off the fitting. So my question to you guys is, what exactly is this fitting? (Link to auto part please?)
And how exactly do I go about replacing it? I obviously can do the hose clamps, but the unit on the side, which i assume is some sort of sensor, I don't know how to go about changing it.

Chrysler/Jeep eliminated the heater control valve '97 up. A couple of longer heater hoses and cap/plug the vacuum line......no more breaky/leaky heater control valve.

Interesting... So you just run the two hoses from the front of the block to the two connections that this 4 way splits them to?

The 2 heater core nipples at the firewall, the t-stat housing and the water pump are your hose connections.

Default Vacuum line connection

So I did notice the vacuum line connect but I don't see a line it should go to. Any ideas? Or do you just leave that free? Thank you very much!

You just need to plug it off.

Why is that? Cause mine wasn't capped off before. Just curious.

If you don't cap it, you have a vacuum leak. Engine not happy.

To the OP: Heater hose is cheap. I suggest buying enough to run it where it needs to go, with no splices. It will look better and you'll have fewer places that are susceptible to leaking.

So I see someone else had a similar experience to mine.

I got sprayed full blast in the face with hot coolant.

Ditch it!!!!
