The ignition rotor turns i just replaced the distributor cap and all the wires and connections going to the spark plugs..............? haha wtf

Does that model year run cats and O2 sensors? I'd pick it up from there if you say the ignition rotor is turning...Check the cat converter and O2 sensors IMO before you start buying all kinds of stuff to see what works...

Oxygen sensors, they are used to monitor air/fuel mixture and cat converter performance...

I was having trouble with my ZJ, backfire sounds from the bottom of the vehicle, loss of power upon accelaration (no go), hesitation, stuttering, hard starting, you name it...changed out the O2 sensor (Oxygen Sensor) and now its running like a champ.....no issues and a huge improvement in MPG's... (Miles Per Gallon)...
