Default Brake help!

I walk outside this morning and my rear passenger brake has a huge puddle under it, I'm still new to fixing jeeps but I'm trying to learn it all, what would be a good first step to fixing this and figuring out what the problem is?

Pull the wheel off and try to see where its leaking from. If you need to, wipe it all clean, then have someone push the brakes while you watch for leaks

Are you sure it's brake fluid, and not gear oil? Definitely get out there and remove the wheel and drum and see what's going on. You'll probably need a new wheel cylinder if you have a brake fluid leak, or possibly a line.

It's leaking from the bottom of the brake cylinder and the brake light is on, also it dorsnt have any tug on the brake it just goes straight down

It's fairly simple to replace the wheel cylinder. Jack up the wheel, take off the wheel, place on jackstand or blocks. Pull off the drum, remove the brake shoes and springs. Remove the metal brake line on the back of the cylinder, remove the two bolts holding it on, replace with new cylinder, tighten the two bolts, remount brake line, replace brake shoes and hardware. Replace drum and have someone help you bleed the cylinder. You should go ahead and bleed them all, starting with the one farthest from the MC (passenger rear, then driver rear, then passenger front and lastly, driver front). Replace the wheel, take off jack and stands and torque the lug nuts to spec.

Get one of these kits if you haven't done many drum brake jobs. Makes removing and re-installing the springs easier. Also either use your other assembled drum for reference or snap a few pics prior to disassembling
