Proof is in the owners manual since you like to read stuff. Page 6 to be specific. Not how it says "the outside wheel rotates freely" meaning it goes faster than the inside wheel aka overrunning. Grab a dictionary. Read a little further and you will note that lighter throttle input will keep it from locking

Ok you know what? I totally lied about everything. Actually it locks when the magical elf that lives in the axle pulls the magic lever that turns your open diff into a spool, then when you corner under light load/throttle input, he pulls the magic lever again turning it back into an open diff. Don't forget to feed him or he may make it one wheel drive. If this happens, 4 Wheel Parts might have to take 6 weeks to revive his little elf ***

Wrong then, wrong now.......it simply unlocks when it's required to differentiate. No magic to it.

there is no question that if you give it heavy gas in a turn then the powertrax no slip WILL lock up. under light acceleration in a turn it remains unlocked

anyone who has one including my self will tell you the same.

now if you'll excuse me i need to go feed a starving elf

It's all about tire traction. While unlocked in a turn, the unit will remain unlocked even under heavy throttle as long as the inside wheel maintains traction. If the inside wheel is maintaining traction, the unit is unlocked, or differentiating, regardless of throttle.

Our P-Trax works perfect, just like it's designed to. No ratcheting, no clicking, definitely no one tire fires.
