if it's a d30 with the coil spring brackets then yes.
You'ed have to swap the axle shafts if it comes out of a ZJ since they have velocity axles.

I hear there is a way to lock that axle. Is that safe to do? I do drive it on the street some times. And how do you do it?

It might not be cheap enough, but I had an idea for electric CAD.
Reefer units on semi trailer. Aka Thermoking and Carrier both.
They use a pull type solenoid, it opens the throttle for high speed mode.
They're not cheap but they do last for years.
Convert the vacuum pull to a steel rod and attach it to the CAD internally and the other end to the Solenoid. then wire it to a switch/relay.
You could have 2wd, 4hi, 2low, and 4low that way.

why wouldn't you just replace it with a non disco axle from another cherokee?
the zj and wj are both low pinion.

yes you can just slide the collar across the two shafts and lock it in place one of many different ways. no need to replace any axles.

don't remove the vac canister, you need that for your blend doors to your heater (hvac).
just plug the lines that go to the front diff.

no, it's probably your blower motor, they're electrical. all the vac does is switches the blend doors from heater to defrost.

but first, check your fuses and relays. does it work on high?

if it's not a fuse, it's probably the blower motor. easy enough to replace, it's on the passenger side under the hood halfway down on the firewall. black round thing.
