yeah... keep the d44 and re-sell the 9in... the odds that he really has a 9in laying around cut down for a cherokee is unlikely... maybe cut down for something... but doubt for a cherokee... youll still have to modify its spring perches and yatt yatta... now if the ford 9in is locked then use it... but you gotta make sure the gears in it are going to be the same as your front axle... other wise your going to regear also...

Yah i know, but it was kinda last min change of mind to do the full axle thing. So i am gonna take a look at this axle and if its 100 percent complete i will prolly buy it. i am still confused on this measure ment thing to ensure my drive shaft is normal. do i just measure the stock set up and match the 9inch to that?

measure your angle stock... and just get the same angle when you swap... or better... just try not to get a worse angle... meaning if the axle is aiming down more thats bad... point it more towards the xfer case...

should be drum... which brake lines you talking about?the hard lines on the axle or the rubber line to the body? hard lines you can get at autozone or whatever and bend them yourself easy... rubber line depends on how the axle mount is... youll have to match the top connectiong to the bottom connection...

theres SEVERAL different versions of them so choose wisely... and from what i understand they hang down pretty low... seen mods to flip them but boy does it look like alot of work...
