XJ Ask the Question Thread
So I'm in Montana with my jeep packed to the socks and I'm sagging hard in the back. This is the state of my rear shocks when my dad and I arent in there. Going over bumps has been... loud. Anything i can do to prevent my shocks from blowing through my rear floor? Other than chucking some of my luggage or making myself puke to lighten the weight?

Didn't you contribute to some of those pages? you're name is in there.
yeah I did ' do bofum'
Was really asking about the holes/ difference between your instruction page, and what I encountered.
Guess it doesn't really matter. I think It will be just fine.
ALSO --
I did the Distributor Indexing ...
My block has a different scale than the one in your pictures, So, I'm gonna use the hole/ tube as the 0 zero
so, thanks
-- Also, You are welcome to use the attached pics on your site. I'll try to get a better one of the Harm. balancer / indicator scale in AM

What are you referring to as the "pocket"? Honestly though, it takes time for new leaf packs to settle under the weight of the Jeep. If all you're concerned about is the additional height in the rear, drive it around for about a month, the springs will settle about an inch or more.

Ok
sorry,
One more Question:
NAPA Dude said not to use ant RTV on the FelPro cork gasket....
HTF am I supposed to get the damned thing to stay straight while I fit it on???
It keeps sliding inboard as I wiggle the cover down, then catches the ridge and I can't pry it back out to fit right?
suggestions?
