Once you find the sensor which is on the top left of your bellhousing,you can check it with a multi meter,check resistance across terminals a and b on the 20 scale and it should read open,also not sure what auto parts you checked but I just looked one up that ran $31 if you find it is bad.

 

I replaced the coil and started hunting for the connecter so I followed the wire up from the trans and terminates into a round plug not the flat round that the pics xjstryker posted long of the short cleaned it out plugged it back in and bam fired first shot.Thank you guy so much for your help jeep means learning curve still to meso thank you,and if anyone is familier with ny and ct levines auto parts is way to over priced on the simple stuff.
