Ok so my 96 jeep cherokee 4x4 has 230,000 miles on it..im looking to do some upgrades and mods, just not sure what mods are worthwile..?
I was thinking some headers with a flowmaster mufler..also thinking bout a cold air intake..what else should i be looking to upgrade??

Also i figure that before long i will prolly be looking to get a new engine as my current one has 230,000 miles! My question about that is, should i buy a new crate engine or just look for a used one at a scrap yard?? What would a new crate engine cost?? What is the general price range for a used engine??

If it was me I would just rebuild the one you have. I just got done doing mine and you will spend the same if not less and know will know whats in it and also get the parts you want. Plus its a perfect time to do mods and upgrades to fit your needs.
