89 Cherokee converting from closed to open cooling system

89 Cherokee converting from closed to open cooling system
So I think I have all the parts I need to complete my project. The only question I have is with the heater core. What's better keeping the heater valve in the system or getting bypassing it altogether and going directly to the heater core?
