Default 89 Cherokee converting from closed to open cooling system

So I think I have all the parts I need to complete my project. The only question I have is with the heater core. What's better keeping the heater valve in the system or getting bypassing it altogether and going directly to the heater core?

Thank you

Delete it. It will break, and without it the installation is easier and cleaner.
