Default 4wd Lights in cluster

I was wondering if any one knows if there is a switch in handle that engages the 4wd full or part time lights in dash cluster My 4wd works & lights work in floor handle they do not light in dash. I have changed bulbs in dash also. Thanks for any help

There is a sensor on the transfer case, unplug it and clean out the contacts.

Yup, and if that does not work, get a new switch. The inside of mine was starting to go. The plunger was weak on mine. My 4wd worked, but the light didn't.

Depends on which transfer case you have. 242 has an electrical switch on the t-case and 231 has a vacuum actuated electrical switch under the coolant bottle on the firewall.
