Guess someone didnt want this to be a road anymore!

Unless that's BLM land and an "official" barricade, that was built by a dick.

My buddies were telling me about the cleanup crew that came by. Very cool that you helped out. Let me know next time they do it and I will help out as well!

Thanks Tbone. It's pretty much stock. The previous owner added the cleats on the box which I kind of like and they suit the period. They snag your clothing though!

Well... did something to the YJ, but it's a quick cheap trick and early XJs have the same steering wheels. So yup.

Ugly

Pop the emblem off, hit it with wet 1500, then a bit of clear.

I'm changing the interior to black, so dye the pad, glue the emblem back on, much better!

Sanded and painted the hood over the weekend. Use rattle can metallic black then Krylon clear. Factory clear coat was peeling and bubbled. Also changed oil and filter.

Took off the crappy triple air horns I had and installed a much larger single air horn with a new compressor. MUCH better. Now it is way louder, like an air horn should be. It's so tempting to scare pedestrians with it but I just don't have that A-hole gene and so I don't pull those kind of stunts.

I scare friends and my girlfriend with mine, but never random pedestrians.
