So I am hoping some of you sandblasting gurus can help me out here. I picked up this brand and model sandblaster on Offerup for $5. It was 15 minutes from home and I could not help myself. Now I did not buy the one at the link below but again it is that exact one. Thinking it is a rebranded ALC. The gun trigger was frozen. Guessing from use and not being oiled. I freed it up. Thinking as long as I did not ruin the rubber part in there it should be OK. Time will tell. Now I did not get the 5 loose pieces you see and the black nozzle that the hose hooks up to attached to the gun. The hose is just secured with a hose clamp to the gun itself. I am thinking the nozzle that is on the gun in my picture comes off because there is a set screw there. But either it doesn't or it is frozen in good. Which is it? And if it does come off any ideas on to do this? Cause my compressor, while a decent size, still won't run the bigger nozzles so I want to buy the 13/64" one which requires less air.

For some reason I can't get my photo to upload. Hoping somebody can help anyway.

Ralph, have you talked to your local Cornwell rep yet? I suggest contacting the local rep in your area, as he/she will be able to not only let you know exactly what you have and how it goes together, but certain parts may be under warranty, and replaced. Any rubber might not be, but o rings are cheap...it might be a fruitless venture, but it doesn't hurt to ask...I have done a lot of business with my local Cornwell guy, and he's a great guy. Just a suggestion.

I was able to find the ALC instructions for, what I am almost positive, is the same sandblaster. Problem is they are very unclear. At least to me. It is funny you should mention that. I never even heard of this company. I go to the warehouse 2 times a day for special order parts for the auto parts store I work at. Would you believe when leaving the warehouse I spotted a Cornwell tool truck coming out of a school bus company that is right around the corner from the warehouse. Never seen one before. I wanted to chase him down but had to get back to the store. Thinking if all else fails I am going to follow your advice and contact Cornwell. I really don't expect to come across the truck again seeing how all this time I have been driving to the warehouse this is the first time I have ever seen one.
...and, yes, ALC probably makes it, and Cornwell slaps their name on it, lots of tool companies do this, but they have partnered with those companies, so it's gonna be far easier for them to get info and/or parts. They may also tell you tough luck, we no longer deal with them, or may be the item was discontinued. Like I said though, never hurts to ask! Good luck!
So I have good news and bad news. As I told you guys before I ordered these.

Then DonP on this forum brought up the subject of length. Said anything more then 27mm won't fit. Well of course I did not even think about being concerned about the length. So of course the bulbs I ordered are 27.14mm. You can jam them in there the the bulb is literally pressing against the lens. Also amber still show through my white lens because of the one on the head. But no where near as offensive to me as the regular amber bulbs showing through the white lens on the front.
So on to the good news. The non polarized bulbs work as they should. Also with LED's up front my turn signal indicators are not dimly glowing anymore with my headlights on. With the exception of them just being to long, oh and the amber showing through the white lens, best I can tell everything seems to be working as it should.
So now I ordered these:

The length is 23.24mm. But thinking I am still going to be seeing a little amber behind my white lens. We shall see how these work out.

Ordered new gas tank straps from Rockauto.com, with shipping and 5% discount came out to about $24. I crawled under the back of the Jeep and the j-bolts don't look too bad, maybe they can be saved. Will periodically hit them with penetrating oil over the next few days while waiting for the straps and we'll see what happens...
That sounds like a good idea using a nylon lock nut for the rod on the rear hatch. What did you use for rod and nut? Did you keep that stupid little clip in there?

I don't trust those metal prong things. I used a beefy zip tie to keep it from popping outward. It goes diagonally. I thought about doing another diagonally the opposite direction, but that's s bit overkill.
