Removed the QD on the trans feed line and installed a compression fitting, installed the headlamp harness upgrade (big difference!), cleaned all the underhood electrical connections and applied dielectric grease, washed the engine bay and took it for a short drive.

Thumbs up

finished up with a thursday through sunday project. not all day every day just when i had time in the evenings and this afternoon.

pulled everything out to replace the front axle seals. went pretty well. also changed the fluid in the rear end.

then I did the brake pad sliding points repair. or whatever you wanna call it lol. a few spots were worn down almost 1/8". ground clean, welded, ground flush and smoothed, painted, then greased lightly.

I drilled 4 tiny holes so I could reach the crossmember bolts with some PB blaster in preparation for replacement of the trans mount. and I will be installing my new set of Brown Dog engine mounts at that time. So I began soaking the bolts and working them a little bit back and forth till they were freed up then i soaked them again. I will get to that project before winter gets here

I call it a Relay Trigger Supply Module. Basically supplies key-on power to up to five relays without splicing and screwing up factory wiring, and also has a 10 amp accessory port that can be used for more relay triggers.

I did the same thing a few days ago on my Comanche. Pretty straight forward job and well worth it.
