To anybody that might care. My local corporate owned Napa is having a sale this weekend. Picked up a case of 5W30 and 10W30 for $1.49 a quart. 2 case limit. Gold 1085 oil filters are $3.85. Grabbed 4. Gold 6077 air filters are $5.75. Only bought one of those. I don't think there is a sale at privately owned stores and not even sure if it is all corporate stores nationwide.
There was a sale like that last year at the Napa in my area. They advertised that the doors opened at 8am.
I got there at 7:30. There was already a line snaking through the store and going out the front door.
Was that front end piece a separate part from the box or was the whole thing one piece?
Anyone want to take a guess as to why they still don't do that? Openings still in the box and in the header panel although it's got plastic piece covering it.
I believe it's to minimize the amount of water and/or dust that gets into the filter by having it ducted right through to the front.
Window switches were never lit. I've owned a 92 and now own a 96. The switch plate is solid except for the switch openings. To my knowledge there are no aftermarket solutions. The 97+ models may have had lighted switches, I don't know. The 97+ door panels might mount to the doors but the wiring would be the real issue if they do light up.
All of mine on my '99 XJ are backlit green like the gauge cluster lights. It would be a total PITA in that thing at night without them, since the overhead interior light doesn't have a "manual" operation switch on it.
So after work i hit a garage sale and found some jeep goodies
This is just ripped from google but exact same lights and i picked them up for 5 bucks i wanna use them but amber lights give me headaches anyonee have any info on these? they look vintage
Not "today" really, but recently. The local swap meet has a booth that makes stickers. They have pre-made designs or you can get custom words printed. This is what I have so far.

Ah had a kid , job moved , not economical enough right now even using LPG. I'm in the UK , fuel is like £1.20 a litre, £5.28 gallon.

On my 99 turning the headlight switch or pushing up on the overhead light will make the lights come on. Mine is limited but the sports I have had in the past were the same.
My window switches also have a green back light.
