You'll be amazed of the difference in ride. The steel wheels don't absorb bumps and whatnot in the road like alloys do. I went from alloys to steel and back to alloys again a couple of times... ride is definitely rougher with the steel. Not that you're trying to get it to ride like a cadi, but still... it's a nice bonus.

I never can find that tire carrier. Keep hoping to get lucky one day at the JY, but hasn't happened yet.

I'm wanting to do this with mine, but with bedliner on the tread surfaces. My wife's care likes to spin the tires going up the ramp if there's the slightest bit of moisture or sand on the tires.

Have had my mt2s for over a year now. Been nothing but hard on them. They handle rocks very well, drive great on the street, are quiet and seem to be an all around great tire. I smashed them through the Rubicon and came out with almost 0 rock rash. I do have one complaint though. They don't clean out mud very well.

Yea I had added shackle relocation brackets in the rear so I had to put bigger Springs up front to level up the front

Power steering pump locked up, threw a belt on the highways, slightly overheated getting to a safe spot, and completely broke the power steering pulley in half. Yay! More maintenance.
