no half doors. I cut my pins out today after work. Gotta find a decent set of mirrors to mount up tomorrow as well as cut and set my new door pins so I can pull the doors when I want.
Looks like a solid state, which technically yes is mechanical. I've bought those before... That is what comes in later XJs (mine) where the flasher looks like a relay mounted in the relay box separate from the inside fuse panel (whenever they started that, probably '96). More reliable than the thermal, but still an analog device that requires a certain amount of resistance on the circuit to function properly.

We did a bunch of other ones too- (Lake Abundance/Crows Point Mine/Crazy Lake Trail/ Daisy Pass/Lulu Pass/Bantam Jeep Road but I dont have much for pictures of those. It was a good time. Had wolves in camp once... saw some bears/foxes/buffalo/moose/elk at a distance. Weather was perfect. Lost my alternator on the Bantam Jeep Road (Very few pictures). It is just about 5 miles of constant mud holes... racing through it killed the poor guy. had to drive back to Laurel to get another one. Also had to replace a thermostat. Other than that and a few scratches, I made it through unscathed. Some of those spots are pretty rugged up there. I highly recommend checking it out. I have a few more pictures in my garage album.

Should go nicely with the RockKrawler 3 link, Serious 1 ton OTK steering, JKS adjustable OTK trackbar, RuffStuff mids, and DirtBound Offroad front and rear stiffeners I already have...now I just need to get new hubs up front, ball joints, and axle u-joints, and I'm ready to start the next major phase of my build! Once this stuff is in, my stroker is going to get a MAJOR workout!
Watch RE's leaf springs... both of mine snapped a few of the bottom ones. At first they were hesitant to give me new ones but after I found a post on Pirate with them saying it was a known issue, they sent me two new ones free of charge. (can't really complain about that). So IF they break, at least you have this to back you up
I will say this, out of all the springs I have run over the years... I like them best. They work great, don't make any noise and ride pretty awesome once broken in. They also maintain their stance for along time (untill they crack anyways Really though, my IRO kit came with everything RE and it is all pretty good stuff. I usually outpace everyone in my 4x4 trips just due to ride quality... even with JKS with 4,000$ in shocks. My Jeep is usually full of people by the end of the day haha. I don't like their flex joints but you don't have to worry about it.

I have rarely heard anything bad about them, no matter the application. I'm comfortable with my purchase, I took my time and weighed a lot of different options, and I look at it like this: Leaf springs are relatively inexpensive, if I no likey, then I go get newey...wait, what? LOL...besides, anything will be better than the ride I have now, my current setup is Frankensteined, by me, out of the JY, and while it has worked for this long, it's time for the real deal.

Really looking at the 7100 Bilsteins, I'd like to be able to rebuild/re-valve them as needed or wanted. My rig is more geared towards crawler, but the terrain in my area has a lot of whoops as well, I'm like 20 minutes from the Hammers...so an external res shock would do well for me. Still debating.

Yeah it was around 100* here today, with near 100% humidity. Rare for SoCal. SUCKS! LOL...and I had to weld and torch at work all day, ugh....
I've had people ask me, "what do you do when it rains?" when I'm doorless...my response?

Brilliant! The carts at our SAMs are left to suffer in the sun without a cover. Actually I think that's the first time I've seen a covered cart corral, ever.

Bless Michigan for getting enough snow that having a covered cart corral pays off in winter!
I'm not opposed to getting wet, I DD'd a sportbike for three years haha. Not having fender flares or wheel well liners to kinda deflect the water a bit though.... I was soaked on my left side. Thankfully no rain tomorrow, so I'll get to dry it out and get the doors back on tomorrow evening.
