I'm trying to switch to BDS entirely.
It'll do what you want it to do. That's what kit I have right now.

I'm the opposite. I don't have a problem with their service because they always replace stuff on the spot, but I'm getting tired of the lower quality parts looking like they've been used for 50 years when they've been used for 50 weeks.

BDS makes excellent parts, and their "NO FINE PRINT" warranty sounds great. "If you break it, we will replace it. No fine print." Until they started making excuses because they were losing too much money on warranties.

Ordered the rest of my suspension components (minus the shocks) from Serious Offroad. Thanks Frank!
Everything RE, with the exception of Teraflex extended brake lines front and rear, on the list:
5.5 coil springs
6* shims
4.5 leaf springs
boomerang shackles (adds 1")
BPE's
new speedo gear (needed since gear change)
front bumpstops
u-bolt kit
steel braided lines
Should go nicely with the RockKrawler 3 link, Serious 1 ton OTK steering, JKS adjustable OTK trackbar, RuffStuff mids, and DirtBound Offroad front and rear stiffeners I already have...now I just need to get new hubs up front, ball joints, and axle u-joints, and I'm ready to start the next major phase of my build! Once this stuff is in, my stroker is going to get a MAJOR workout!

RC has hit or miss service. Some people have great results, and others are shunned. The quality of their leaf springs and shims is offensive, and everything else is "okay" at best. That's a company I wouldn't buy water from if I were dying in the desert, simply because I don't want them to get my hard earned money.

Lee, I hope you have a better experience than I did with RC. I was one of the ones that was shunned when they sent me crap parts, brand new out of the box. Fought with them over it, they sent me replacements finally, and guess what? SAME PROBLEM right out of the box. Ordered adjustable SA's, and the threads were cut incorrectly. I ended up buying the proper sized tap and die set and recut them myself, but the X-flex joints are garbage. I've replaced them several times. Still have them in, but now that I have my parts for the next phase, THEY ARE GOING IN THE GARBAGE. Wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy, LOL...

no half doors. I cut my pins out today after work. Gotta find a decent set of mirrors to mount up tomorrow as well as cut and set my new door pins so I can pull the doors when I want.

Got my aux-fan wired to a relay/switch. I was in the middle of wiring the thing when my buddy from work stopped by. He said he had an extra wiring harness for fog lights so we used that instead of piecing everything together. The only draw back is we wired it outside of the ignition switch. But you can't miss leaving it on, it sound pretty loud. Did not have time to take any pics. before it got dark, I'll try to tomorrow. If I get done with work early again tomorrow I'll try to get my license plate relocated for my bumper/tire carrier. Trying to get things done for this week-end going to hit a few trails on Sunday.

When I roll doorless, and the inevitable person walks or drives up and says "what happened to your doors?", I always tell them I live in a bad neighborhood, LOL

As mentioned earlier, I think their leaf springs are one of their worst faults. They are just steel leafs stacked on top of one another, and with no insulation, they rust like steel in salt water because of all the friction.
I posted some honest reviews on their Web site and they were never approved by moderation. It's clear they only approve the 4+ star reviews to make themselves look good.
I've been running their 6.5 inch kit for 3 years now and so far the only thing to technically "break" has been the sway bar disconnect, but engineering problems have resulted in a warrantied out leaf spring set, additions of coil spring spacers, warrantied track bar, arguing about their pitman arm drop with no response after I told them like it is, and the likes.
I've been a good customer, so that's probably why they've been alright warrantying my stuff, but eventually when I get the "we can't do it anymore," my ranting about their stuff will get a lot worse.
I talked to BDS over the phone and discussed how their parts are built and how they compare, and BDS does actually make very good springs with proper insulation. The only thing I didn't like as much is the leaf springs will have poly bushings instead of rubber.
I'm excited to move over. I essentially just need their springs, and I've thought about also doing their long arm kit because I don't like the Rough Country X Flex control arms.
Nonetheless, I can see where Rough Country is going. You'll see their Web site is nothing but flashy LED light bars and toggle switches and fender flares now. They look like they're moving out of the suspension business and into the mall pavement princess business.

This more than any other reason is why I dumped the kit I had from them and decided to go a different direction.
