Yep. October 1972 for me. Humboldt State College in Arcata, California.

I remember college. That time of life when literally everything I owned could (had to) fit in the extended cab of my 97 Silverado.

Good luck! School comes first. I didn't try/focus as much my first year and still regret that. I made up for it mostly but had to work much harder than I wanted the last couple semesters. Don't be afraid to go extra semesters, take more electives if you can afford it.

thank you, and I tried getting the jeep up and reliable before yesterday but it didn't happen. Still needs driveline work so I have no clue when or how I'll get it done, but school come first and jeep comes when I have time. We'll see how it all goes.

Ghosts???
Come home from local chores, and the wifey tells me the Jeep is making noise. WTF? Thinking maybe there is an animal in there or maybe a ghost. So the photo shows what I saw after a walk around. Seems ii am afflicted with extreme spring distress. So I will b installing rather than putting in the back my set of HD replacements. Stay tuned 4 the soon to be placed " 4 sale . " Thanks.

Don't be too proud to admit you're not doing well. Withdraw from a class rather than take a D or F. And don't take too long to change majors if it's clear you're not in the right place. In both cases you'll know long before you'll want to admit it.

I speak from experience.

Statistically the worst term of most college students is their spring semester of their first year. Most try really hard their first semester and then get cocky the second. My best term was my last semester before graduating.

I lost a fender flare and my junkyard flare was a different color. So, I rhino lined my fender flares and reattached them

Isn't it nice to not be going to class this semester?
I graduated in May and I couldn't be any happier that I don't need to go back now. Even though I'll be going back in January to start my MBA.

I graduated in May 2015 but I loved it. I miss not having as much responsibility and being able to have all that free time with all my friends. But I will say visiting back each time makes me realize you can't hold on to the past since it's not the same without everyone there. I don't miss packing all my belongings up in my Jeep that's for sure.
