I'd like to replace the windshield trim while the glass is out. Where is a good place to get it? You think insurance would cover that if it's dry rotting?
They will use a new rubber seal anyway they are a one time use.

remounted my rear window washer pump, while trying to mount my license plate. the nut was out of the grommet for the pump, so I took out the plate light to get my fingers or something in there, and I had to use long curved needle nose pliers to hold the nut on top of the bolt and turn the bolt at the same time. it threaded on and i kept turning until the nut went down back into the grommet. and now its tight. License plate clips were shot on top, none on bottom, so drilled out the top ones and reamed out the bottom ones a little and put new clips in. done!!! finally got the plate on.

Got the drivelines done. Haven't done U-joints in a while. Not rocket surgery, but still a PITA... Ruined one out of five joints, so not a bad record... Lol! I'll install them tomorrow.

Today I had some new tires mounted and balanced for my Cherokee.

285x75x16 Goodyear Duratracs.

Looks good.

As Clown said, Local member had it for sale. I've heard if you call and talk to him he is willing to make them. I don't know how true that is though.

I also got the first production test of a 4 switch panel that replaces the clock panel. This one was printed on a Stratasys SLS printer that costs more than my house.

Now I need to track down someone locally with an early xj or mj that's willing to let me rip apart their dash

Ordered coil spring insulators and coil spring retaining brackets. My 95 XJ were missing these parts, and I didn't know they existed, until I saw a YouTube video on installing springs and lifts.
