Update:
Got some night driving in. Man oh man is it nice to be able to see. But unfortunately I pulled these guys off the truck today and put my old lights back in.
No one approaching has flashed me but I noticed a lot of people adjusting their rear view mirrors down. I was able to notice because my jeep was fully illuminating the entire inside of their cars. It looked annoying from their perspective for sure.
Also, my horn started working again from the fob, but the weird auto timer issues have remained. One of the lights was acting strange and they both would flicker sometimes when the headlights were turned off. My truck has its issues but electrically, it's pretty sound. Not worth trying to fix these issues.
The owner of the company was very friendly and helpful on initial purchase. I'm hoping he'll let me return them for a refund. I feel like me not liking their brightness is not his fault. But the flickering, finickiness and non conformation to my auto timer is something a "plug and play" light shouldn't be doing. He has several other nice items on his site I'd be interested in purchasing. Hopefully we can continue to do business.
Overall, if this was a trail rig, I'd rock em. But not on my kid hauler.

First off let me say kudos to you for taking them off, you were diligent in your courtesy to other drivers, a lot of folk would've just said "BADASS ME HAVE BRIGHT LIGHT".
Second, let me say this: Chalk another one up for spending the extra dough and getting QUALITY lights...you took a chance, it didn't pan out. Things like this are why higher priced components are worth the extra cabbage.
Thirdly, I hope you can at least exchange them if not return for a refund...if the seller was cool with you initially, let's hope he backs it up with some service...
Sorry it didn't work out, but it's an excellent example of why to buy quality.

BTW, he sent me info on how to fix the flickering issue. Apparently LED lights in XJ's like to have the headlight delay unplugged. It's under the steering column. Oh well. Better luck next time.
Still debating on Trucklights or E codes with nice bulbs. I like low draw of LED and the color of the light they put out. But I need a limited slip and other stuff before I can justify $400 on headlights.

Yes, but they have a superior beam pattern and are not going to draw attention to themselves by blinding other drivers. I've got a set of H4 e-codes and nobody looks twice at 'em. (Of course it's always possible a cop or inspector having a bad day might notice and want to make an issue of it.)
