not familiar with the 95 model booster, but i'm assuming it's a dual diaphragm style. i have done this in my 90 with a 97 booster.
all i had to do was ream out the brake pedal rod hole and grind the end flat so my brake switch would fit.
the 97 was a little longer in length, but nothing i couldn't get used to.
difference in braking is night and day.
so, i'm assuming you will have to do the same (reaming/grinding) as i had to do. you will like the new braking power.

They use a different connecting rod that hooks to the brake pedal but it's easy to adapt.
I have a 96 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder combo that I swapped in my 94.
To clarify as others posted above the 97+ is also different that the 95&96 and will cause your break pedal to be a little higher than factory for your MJ.
I hear this isn't a problem although the 95&96 will keep it in the same location for your year.

It's important to grind the end flat otherwise your lights will ALWAYS be on. But you'll figure that out pretty quick. And I don't know if it was necessary but I kept the plastic sleeve that goes between the push rod and the connecting rod. Also the MC uses a different flare nut on one of the tubes plus on my 90 the connect on the engine side of the MC and the 95 is on the opposite side.
