Wider 18” Tires
hello! New to the forum; did some searching but didn’t find what I was looking for.
bought my daughter a 17 Sport Altitude, it has 18” wheels. Looking for AT tire options without going larger diameter. In 18” the options are limited, I found BFG AT KO2 in 255/50-18 which is pretty close to stock diameter. Will this rub the fender liners being 1”
wider? I did find 3/4 spacers that would likely eliminate this problem. Anyone with any experiences with wider tires out there?
thanks!

255/55/18 will fit, lots of AT tires in that size.

Your shop is stupid, also wheel spacers on a KL generally make rubbing worse and doesn't actually allow larger tires. The MFC lift still isn't going to net you any larger tires that you couldn't put on before. After a certain diameter you require trimming of the pinch welds regardless of whether you are lifted or not. Since you are going to be lifted you may as well go for a 30" diameter tires as anything smaller is going to look silly if you are lifted.
So, your options are
235/65/18
255/60/18
Bother are 30" in diameter.
putting 255/55/18 on a lifted cherokee is going to look a bit off, lots of gap in the wheel wells
