Default wider tires in rear? good or bad?

So if i run a pair of 33x10.5x15 in front (so they dont rub while turning) is ok to run 33x12.5x15 in back would i mess anything up? Brother says it wont!

If OVERALL tire diameter is the SAME, no issues.

This may not be true. Just because its the same size. If you mount both on the same width rim the 12.5 will be taller at the same air pressure than the 10.5.
Why not just run the correct offset wheel or spacers and 12.5's?

you will be fine. it won't make that much of a difference.
i know others that has done it with locked axles.
it actually makes the steering feel a little better also.

so when everything is all mounted up, just measure the overall diameter of both size tires. if they are different brand tires, they may be different measurements even tho they are the same size on the sidewall. but you should be fine up to an inch.
it's no different than having bald 33's on the back and like new 33's on the front.

for the record, i never rotate my tires.
