a computer that is over taxed has the tendency to want to lag or be slow..
for example an old computer thats so full of stuff, when you type a word it takes 2-5 seconds for the word to appear.
in the event of the break down i had, i do believe in theory.. that the computer is lacking some power, maybe over heated? over worked..??
but in the event it broke down the part it accelerated on its own from 30 to 50ish.. could have been a system lag.. and part of the glitch.
im going to slap a bigger battery in this thing to see if that helps.. maybe a capacitor in line also.. just for a test..
im doing this because no one has a solution. so im trouble shooting. my way.
and im going to find all the major grounding points and check em out as well just to get an eyes on.

More power could lead to frying something when dealing with electronics. Lean toward cooling first. Like how desktop computers use fans, holes and eventually liquid cooling systems. Again too much power can fry your whole system.

You shelled out for a brand new vehicle. They're going to fix it for free.

I would get a schematic and refresh all grounds. Peace of mind. I lived through that crap with the Renix Jeeps. You ain't gonna find guys nowadays at a dealership willing to stick their neck out.
I like what metalwonzero is thinking about the ground points. Think about it. His engine has been removed...
When one component seeks it's ground and it's not there, or poor, it grounds through another component's ground circuit. Weird stuff happens.
And if you've seen the video of these being built, you'll see that they are so well coated that there is plenty of opportinuty for poor grounding, just like the firewall ground on the early XJs.
Battery, not so much. Afterwards maybe.
