Greetings from SoCal! I'm in the market for a 97-99 XJ 4.0 4x4 w/ tow package to tow a small (3500 lbs loaded) cargo trailer for our family dirt biking/camping trips. I currently have a 96 Ranger for this purpose w/ 200k on the clock that is probably in it's last few years of reliable service. I figured this forum would be the best place to get steered in the right direction, and info here has already guided me toward the 97-99 preference. Ask me anything!
