Hey guys, I've been lurking on this site for some time now reading different builds and trying to learn more about my XJ(s). When I was living in Texas a few years back I picked up a really clean 4dr 2wd XJ that had 50k on it. I've since moved to NH and last night picked up an 88 4dr 4wd XJ.

I've kicked around the idea of converting the 2wd to 4wd since it is so clean. The interior is really nice and it has a tiny bit of surface rust on the leading edge of the hatch that will be fixed soon. My friends brother was looking to get rid of the 88 (just give it away) so I figured it might be a good project to really learn to weld on since it has some rust. Both rockers are gone and it has holes in the floor. It also has a borla stainless catback and a built motor. Not sure on the specs of the motor though. On to the pics...

New England wasn't kind to the XJ's. I looked at piles of them a year ago (in NH) and they all had no floors or rockers.

Ended up with a ZJ.
