New In WYO w Cherry Cherokee to Sell
Hello,
Decided to join this forum as I'm not sure what I should do to get my cherokee ready to sell and figured I'd gather some advice from you guys. I have a fully stock '96 base cherokee w 86k original miles on it that I'm looking to sell. I've started to do some research on what to price it at and the numbers are all over the place. Kelly blue book says one thing. Ebay, dealers and online forums say an entirely different thing. She is in great shape as you can imagine. Never seen salt.
What I'm not sure about is what would buyers want to see "serviced or new" on it. She's been serviced regularly over the years as it's been my companies vehicle. Right now I'm thinking of putting new rims & tires on for sure. Might do shocks and struts but not sure as people interested in purchasing it might be looking to completely replace all of the suspension anyways and any money I put in to it could be thrown away right away by whoever purchases it.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Jared

Welcome to CF.
I'd want to get the most out of it with the least amount of investment on your part. Does Wyoming require a state inspection on vehicles tagged in that state? If so I'd get it to where it would pass inspection and sell it. If they don't inspect or it cost too much to get it passed I'd get the vehicle detailed and go from there as far as selling it.

Replacing the valve cover and oil pan gasket is cheap and would definitely make it more desirable to me. Also other seals or gaskets. No leaks and fresh fluids is awesome.

Welcome aboard from another 307 member. Pretty much, clean it up, fix and major leaks, and make sure its driveable, and she will sell in no time. people around here mostly just want a basic 4wd for winters. Where are you located? Got any pictures of the Rig?
