Hello, I recently bought a used Jeep at auction and have been lurking on several boards gathering info. Something about this place stood out so I figured I'd join up and try and learn some things.
'89 XJ, 4.0L, BA10/5, 56,XXX miles.
So far I've upgraded the front and rear suspension (stock height but new parts).
I've got axle u-joints and wheel bearings next, followed by brakes, coolant system rebuild (winter is on the way), headlight and harness upgrade, gaskets and fluids all the way around, muffler...
And that damn sagging headliner. How can I forget that stupid thing.
Anyway, much to learn so I'll probably spend some time abusing the search function before you hear from me again. Thanks for having me.
